As a Financial Analyst , you will support financial planning and analysis activities by assisting with budgeting, forecasting, reporting, and performance analysis. This role is ideal for a candidate early in their finance career who is looking to build strong FP&A fundamentals while partnering with cross-functional teams in the transportation industry.
Financial Analyst Responsibilities:
Support the annual budgeting process and quarterly forecast updates across business units
Build and maintain financial models to analyze business performance and trends
Assist with monthly financial reporting and preparation of management reporting packages
Perform variance analysis to identify key drivers and explain results versus budget and forecast
Partner with operations and commercial teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making
Track KPIs and help identify opportunities for cost control and margin improvement
Support ad-hoc financial analysis and special projects as needed
Financial Analyst Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
0–2 years of experience in financial analysis, FP&A, accounting, or related internships
Strong Excel skills required; exposure to financial modeling preferred
ERP experience (SAP or similar) is a plus but not required
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
Ability to communicate clearly and work effectively with cross-functional teams
Interest in transportation or logistics industry preferred but not required
