What We Are Looking For Yazaki is looking for a motivated
Summer Intern - Computer Engineer to join our
SBU Engineering team in
Canton, Michigan . The ideal candidate thrives in a collaborative, results-oriented environment and is eager to make meaningful contributions to the organization. This internship runs full-time from
May 11, 2026 to
August 14, 2026. What You Will Be Doing - Project Work : [To support the Stellantis BU in consolidating and streamlining Bill of Materials (BOM) data across multiple vehicle programs and systems. The intern will assist in developing automation tools to merge, validate, and analyze BOM data from various sources, reducing manual effort and improving data accuracy. This initiative will enhance engineering efficiency, minimize duplication, and ensure consistent part and supplier information across platforms.
- Success Metrics: Develop the Power BI dashboard for the Latest SBU Engineering BOM.
- Collaboration: Work closely with the IT team, PDE team, and SBU Engineering management team.
What You Will Bring To The Table - Education: Enrollment in a 4-year degree program at an accredited institution during the internship period.
- Relevant Background: Degree/experience related to the position (Computer Engineer).
- Academic Standing: A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
- Commitment : Availability to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks between May 11, 2026, and August 14, 2026
- Technical Skills : Database Management.
- Problem-Solving Skills : Strong analytical and critical-thinking abilities.
