Your mission

Uptime matters. You’ll safeguard reliability across production and facilities by diagnosing issues quickly, executing precise repairs, and planning work that prevents the next breakdown.

What you’ll do

• Make safety your default—comply with all procedures and safe-work practices.
• Service, replace, and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical devices.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment such as pumps, motors, compressors, conveyors, blowers, dust collectors, fans, filters, heat exchangers, tanks, valves, gearboxes, and extruders.
• Install, maintain, and repair piping systems; install screw pipe and operate a pipe threader.
• Weld, cut, and fabricate parts; install metalwork as needed.
• Perform PMs and complete clear, timely work-order documentation.
• Leverage general knowledge of facilities systems: boilers, pumps, de‑aerator, control room, air compressors, chiller, dryers, pneumatic controls, valves, and HVAC.
• Operate maintenance shop equipment and standard tools.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, manuals, and technical bulletins.
• Use an electrical tester to safely verify power, fuses, breakers, and switches.
• Operate a forklift, scissor lift, and jenny boom.
• Plan and organize your workload to meet deadlines and support production schedules.
• Install, service, and repair equipment promptly to minimize downtime.
• Bring and maintain a full set of appropriate hand tools.
• Maintain excellent housekeeping across shop and plant areas.

Required background

• Welding and fabrication experience.
• Proficiency installing screw pipe and running a pipe threader.

Physical demands

• Lift 30 pounds overhead at least four times during an 8-hour day.
• Comfortable climbing and working from a ladder.
