St Bridget of Kildare Catholic School, a faith-based learning community, is seeking qualified and dedicated Substitute Teachers to support student learning in the absence of the regular classroom teacher. The Substitute Teacher is responsible for maintaining a positive, structured, and faith-filled classroom environment that promotes student learning and upholds Catholic values.
Deliver instructional plans and materials provided by the regular classroom teacher.
Maintain classroom routines, procedures, and discipline in accordance with school policies.
Supervise students in all areas of the school environment to ensure a safe and respectful learning atmosphere.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture rooted in Catholic teachings and values.
Communicate effectively with students, staff, and school leadership.
Leave clear documentation of the day’s activities and any significant student issues for the returning teacher.
Uphold and model the mission and vision of Catholic education.
High school diploma or equivalent (some schools may require a bachelor’s degree).
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
Respect for the mission and teachings of the Catholic Church.
Ability to pass background checks and meet diocesan safe environment requirements.
