Essential Job Responsibilities (2-4 Bullets MAX)- Assemble or fabricate mechanical parts, pieces, or products using a variety of tools and equipment according to required specifications
- Perform this work in a specific area of a production line in our Prefabrication shop
- Read, interpret, and follow basic blueprints, diagrams, engineering drawings, and specifications
- Work with electrical components like circuit breakers and electrical cabinet utilizing handheld tools like drills and screwdrivers
Minimum Qualifications Required: (2-4 bullets max)- Have a passion for working with your hands and solving problems
- Possess demonstrated mechanical ability
- Be able to read blueprints and work orders
- Be able to read/use a tape measure
- Possess basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills as well as a normal range of hearing and vision
Physical Demands and Work Environment - Climbing up and down stairs and ladders to both get in and out of trenches and up to elevated platforms (scaffolding at significant heights)
- Lifting necessary equipment and materials 1-50 pounds, 50% of the time monthly for required tasks
- Potential or Periodic amounts of time for the following:
- Walking on uneven terrain, with an average of two miles per day
- Standing
